Making Your Life Count

Think for a moment about the people you admire and would classify as great, or achievers, or movers and shakers. Throughout all of history we can find them being quoted, used as the standard and even revered.

Even though many of their backgrounds, professions and stories are different - they seem to contain at least two common essential elements that were instrumental in leading them to greatness: systematic thinking and movement with urgent purpose.

We have all experienced this: concentrated thoughts cause results, while scattered mental patterns do not. The example of a magnifying glass being held over a piece of paper comes to mind. The result is fire! But, keep moving the magnifying glass around on the paper and what do you get? Nothing.

When your thoughts, energy and activity are scattered and all over the board, you create no focal point, no intensity, no sense of urgency resulting in - no fire.

Our hero's are those who seemingly accomplish more in a single year than most create in a lifetime. Our own fantastic upline and wonderful friend, Juliet St John was promoted in October to Level VI Director which immediately makes her YTB's Number 2 Earner & the Top Female in the entire Industry ! All this from the woman who was by her own testimony sleeping in her car and showering at truck stops just 3 years ago.

The world cries out for men and women who can get things done. Humanity itself has never been so prepared to follow those who are authentic in their promise to lead others to where they want to go.

In YTB we have the company that is tracking to take the number one position in the largest global industry. But if we reduce it to that, we have missed the point.

YTB is first and foremost a CRUSADE. We are the best shot that people have at taking control of their lives, having time freedom and creating a financial residual legacy. We are the company that fulfills where others have failed.

But what about you? What role will you play in history?

Picture this: in 5 or even 10 years, as the cover story of one of our country's best news magazines might declare:

"YTB Dominates the Travel Industry Worldwide!"
And the article elaborates,
"YTB has created more millionaires than any company in history.
YTB has over 1,000,000 representatives that are full time and have replaced their career income. YTB is being hailed as the Company of Freedom!"

This is all well and good, but what will your impact be?

The people in YTB who are NOT where they want to be yet know what to do. As Art Williams used to say, "Ain't that something?"

You see, these people almost get to be Power Team Leaders. They almost get to Coach's Corner. They almost make their $1,000 Leadership Bonuses. They almost get it going. They almost get to Director level.

But almost ain't good enough.

Greatness derives not from (only) working harder, but from working more effectively through systematic thought and movement with urgent purpose. It comes from selling out. It comes from drawing a line in the sand and declaring to the world, "This is my time, this is my place, and this is my purpose. I will complete the task and fulfill my destiny."

As Ernest Hemingway put it, "Never confuse movement with action."
